View Details About Connected Users in CaseViewNet

When outputting to CaseViewNet or CaseViewNet Cloud, you can view the connected users and your CaseViewNet Session Code information from the CaseViewNet Connected Users pane.  This pane will show you the connected users, disconnected users, and blocked users, as well as information about your session code for CaseViewNet Cloud.

  1. While in a realtime session, click on View, CaseView Options, CaseViewNet Connected Users... (CTRL + v, a, u).


     
  2. A CaseViewNet Connected Users Pane will appear with the list of active CaseViewNet connections.

    The Connected section shows which users are connected to the current CaseViewNet session as well as if the user has save rights.  Notice C. Johnson does not have save rights because the floppy disk icon has a red X.


     
  3. If you hover your mouse over the a connected user, a pop-up window will appear that shows details about the user.


     
    • Name: The name the client used when logging into CaseViewNet or the name of the iPad when connecting via iCVNet.
    • Organization: The name of the organization the client used when logging into CaseViewNet. If the client is using iCVNet, nothing will display in this field.
    • Status: The current status of the client.
    • IP: The client's IP address
    • Expires: shows the date that the session code will expire.
    • Total Online Time: The amount of time the client has been connected.
    • Total Reconnections: The number of times the client has disconnected and reconnected to the server.
       
  4. If you hover your mouse over the CaseViewNet Cloud line, a pop-up window will appear that shows details about the session.


     
    • Session: Displays the session code.
    • Days Left: The number of days left at the start of this CaseViewNet Cloud session.
    • Connections Allowed: lists how the maximum number of connections allowed on the session code.
    • IP: The IP address of the Case CATalyst connection.
    • Expires: shows the date that the session code will expire.
    • Total Online Time: The amount of time that the connection has been active with the cloud session.
    • Total Reconnections: The number of times a connection was dropped and then reconnected.
