The Diamante and Luminex requires a minimum 1GB SD card, and can support SD cards up to 32 GB. Note: These requirements are for both the Data and Backup SD cards. Stenograph recommends SimpleTech®, Verbatim®, Kingston® or SanDisk® SD cards, although any high quality SD card is acceptable.
document Do I need to format my SD card in my Diamante or on my computer?
The Data SD card can be formatted on your computer or on the Diamante. The Backup SD card must be formatted in the Diamante. When you insert a SD card into the Backup SD slot on the Diamante, you are prompted to format the card if it has not previously been formatted in the Diamante.
